AndroXLS is an Android app that allows users to edit XLS spreadsheets. It offers the ability to create, modify, and share spreadsheets. With its combination of an Android file manager and the open-source office software LibreOffice, AndroXLS provides a comprehensive solution for spreadsheet management.

The app consists of two main modules:

• The XLS module offers a range of functionalities, including the ability to create spreadsheets, edit spreadsheets files from OpenOffice, LibreOffice, or any Office suite that creates and edits XLS spreadsheets. Users can also manage cell styles, search for texts, insert or delete columns/rows, find and replace values. Additionally, the XLS module includes unique spreadsheet functions like CURRENT, DDE, OPT_BARRIER, GOALSEEK, among others. The app also features autosave functionality and is open-source. AndroXLS supports a variety of spreadsheet formats, including OpenDocuments formats (.ods and .ots), as well as formats used by OOo 1.x (.sxc and .stc) and other commonly used formats (such as .xls, .xlw, .xlt, .xml, .xlsx, .xlsm, .xltm, .xlsb, .wk1, .wks, .123, .dif, .rtf, .csv and .txt).
• The file manager module offers comprehensive file management capabilities. Users can perform various operations on files and folders like copy, move, upload, create folder/file, rename, archive, extract and edit. The module also supports bookmarks for quick access to frequently used files or directories. Users can view properties such as name, location, size and date of files or directories. The client UI is light and elegant and supports both phones and tablets. Different viewing options (grid, list, and icons) are available, and users can sort files by name, last modified, size or type. The app also integrates FTP access and supports image preview. Additional features include a search function for finding files, a list of recent files, and open-source availability.
